My new book, 70 Things First-time Home Buyers Need to Know, released on September 28, 2010 is more than just a tutorial for first time home buyers. It gives you information that you won’t get from many Realtors® or mortgage brokers. Learn the ropes, understand the documents, and know how to deal with the many players in the process.
I’m a Realtor®, but I’m a bit of a maverick in the profession. I was thrilled to be able to write this book, as it allows me to give the home buyer a “non-party-line” understanding of how the process works. It gives the reader hard information on how to use the Internet to your advantage, which real estate websites will help you the most, and how to avoid dealing with an agent you don’t want or before you’re ready.
It’s titled as a book for first time home buyers, but information in it is the type of things I’m asked about every day by clients who have purchased and sold homes in the past. So, it’s good information for anyone who wants a better understanding of the process of locating a home, negotiating, and getting through closing.
